The Institut national d'application de l'ingénierie des systèmes (INAIS) recently held open days in Makokou, the capital of Gabon's Ogooué-Ivindo province, to introduce its private higher education institution to the public. The event, which took place on October 9-10, aimed to showcase the institution's activities, academic programs, and career prospects in systems engineering to young people and professionals in the province.

The initiative was welcomed by Emma Nadège Mawili épouse Ngouali Fils, Director General of Higher Education at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, who visited the province as part of her administrative duties. She ensured that the institution's academic and administrative activities were effective and accredited in 2025. Mawili épouse Ngouali Fils commended the institution's founder, Emerand Ololo, for choosing to locate the institution in the heart of the province, aligning with the government's policy of bringing higher education closer to the population.

Emerand Ololo, President and Founder of INAIS, stated that the institution's mission is to contribute to the development of skills in Gabon, particularly in the Ogooué-Ivindo province. He emphasized that INAIS aims to provide students with solid knowledge, practical skills, and a genuine professional culture. Ololo expressed his gratitude to the administrative, civil, and military authorities, parents, teachers, partners, and all those who support the institution's development.

INAIS offers various academic programs, including diplomas in higher technology (DTS) and university technology (DUT), as well as first and second-year undergraduate degrees (L1 and L2). The programs cover several fields, such as mining and industrial production, computer science, welding and metallurgy, tourism management, hospitality, entrepreneurship, project management, business creation, and environmental management.

The open days allowed INAIS to strengthen its ties with its socio-professional environment while raising awareness about its programs and the career prospects they offer to students. The institution's management team, including Mawili épouse Ngouali Fils, participated in a photo opportunity with the event's attendees.

According to the Gabon Press Agency, the event was well-received by the public, with over 196 views reported. INAIS's efforts to promote its programs and engage with the local community reflect its commitment to contributing to Gabon's development through education.

The institution's focus on systems engineering and its various applications aligns with the growing demand for skilled professionals in Gabon and beyond. As INAIS continues to establish itself in the Ogooué-Ivindo province, it is expected to play a significant role in shaping the country's future workforce.
