Four Seasons has announced plans to open a new resort in Tangier, Morocco, marking its fourth establishment in the country. The resort, developed in partnership with Royal Resort Cap Malabata, will be located on the Mediterranean coast and offer 99 rooms and suites, including 27 independent villas. The project aims to enrich Four Seasons' luxury hospitality offerings in Morocco and expand its presence along the Mediterranean coast.

The new resort, set to be located on the cliffs of Cap Malabata, will offer stunning views of the Mediterranean, the Strait of Gibraltar, and the Spanish coast. The architectural design will be handled by Arjitec, while Goddard Littlefair will be responsible for the interior design. The resort will feature multiple pools, four dining spaces, a spa, and a fitness center, as well as a kids' program and flexible event spaces.

The resort's strategic location, approximately 15 minutes from Tangier's TGV station and 45 minutes from Tangier Ibn Battouta Airport, is expected to attract tourists and business travelers alike. According to Ricardo Suarez, Four Seasons' director of development, the project will allow the group to further establish its presence in Morocco while showcasing the unique character of Tangier.

The partnership between Four Seasons and Royal Resort Cap Malabata aims to enhance Tangier's luxury hospitality offerings and promote the city as a regional and international destination. Abdulwahed Al Kooheji, CEO of Royal Resort Cap Malabata, highlighted the city's strategic location and maritime environment as key factors in the project's success.

The economic impact of the new resort is expected to be significant, with the potential to attract high-spending tourists and generate revenue for local businesses. The resort's integration into Royal Resort Cap Malabata, a large-scale development project, will also contribute to the area's economic growth and job creation.

Royal Resort Cap Malabata is a comprehensive development project covering over 1.1 million square meters, featuring approximately 1,200 residential units, four hotels, sports facilities, a convention center, and beach clubs. The new Four Seasons resort will be a key component of this project, marking a significant milestone in the group's expansion in Morocco.

While the opening date and investment amount for the new resort have not been disclosed, the project is expected to further solidify Four Seasons' presence in Morocco and contribute to the country's luxury hospitality sector.
