Five constituency youth organisers of Ghana's National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Western Region have met with Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah. The youth organisers, representing Jomoro, Takoradi, Sekondi, Essikado-Ketan, and Ellembelle constituencies, were led by Ellembelle Constituency Youth Organiser, McDonald Kwofie. The youth organisers appealed to Minister Armah-Kofi Buah to consider branch-level youth organisers in the recruitment of workers for cooperative mining operations. They also requested greater inclusion of young people in employment opportunities created under the government's mining reclamation programme. This, they believe, will create jobs and strengthen youth involvement in economic and community development.

As the patron of the NDC youth wing in the Western Region, he encouraged the youth organisers to remain disciplined, committed, and united.

He stressed that sustained engagement among party members and leaders is crucial to strengthening the party's structures and support base across the region.
