Siriki Sangaré, president of the National Chamber of Promoters and Constructors of Côte d'Ivoire, emphasized the challenges facing West Africa, including rapid demographic growth and urbanization. He noted that the region is expected to have approximately 300 million young people by 2050, posing significant employment challenges. Sangaré welcomed the Fiisec initiative, stressing the need for African experts to work together to develop a suitable economic model.
The forum has received support from various stakeholders, including the Senegalese Embassy in Côte d'Ivoire. Mariam Mané, representing the ambassador, assured participants of Senegal's commitment to supporting the event. The 4th edition of Fiisec will be coupled with the 3rd edition of the Senegalese Golden Trowel, which recognizes outstanding actors in the construction sector. The jury's president emphasized the importance of rigor and independence in the evaluation process.
The Benin Republic has been invited as the guest of honor for this edition.
