The Eswatini Post and Telecommunications Corporation (EPTC) has launched two new promotions aimed at enhancing digital connectivity and customer experience. The 'Connecta Manje' broadband promotion and the 'Shop Without Borders' e-commerce promotion were introduced to provide customers with improved internet services and online shopping opportunities. EPTC Managing Director Thulani Fakudze stated that these campaigns reflect the corporation's commitment to becoming a more innovative, customer-focused, and digitally enabled entity.

The 'Connecta Manje' promotion offers fibre subscription incentives, including three months of free subscriptions for customers who connect during the promotional period. This offer applies to customers within the fibre network coverage area and is not available for wireless or copper connections. Additionally, customers subscribing to the Home Basic Uncapped package can benefit from this promotion. For post-paid applications, customers will not be required to pay installation or modem fees upfront, while installation will be free for prepaid options, with customers only required to purchase a modem.

The 'Shop Without Borders' e-commerce promotion allows customers to shop online from anywhere in the world and have their purchases delivered to their doorsteps. EPTC Chief Marketing Officer Khulile Dlamini explained that customers will be provided with a reliable delivery address in Johannesburg, South Africa, to facilitate their international online purchases. Under this promotion, customers who pay for their first two deliveries will receive the third delivery free of charge. The promotion runs until the end of January.

The 'Shop Without Borders' service is made possible through a partnership with Phutfumani, which collects purchased items from the EPTC warehouse in South Africa and arranges delivery to customers' specified addresses. To access the service, customers can download the 'Ship-Hustle' application and shop from various online retailers, including Game, Makro, Alibaba.com, Dis-Chem, SHEIN, and Takealot.com. This service not only benefits online shoppers but also individuals who travel abroad and purchase items they want delivered to Eswatini.

EPTC's Managing Director, Thulani Fakudze, emphasized that the corporation's role has evolved beyond providing telecommunications and postal services to enabling communication, supporting businesses, connecting communities, and contributing to the country's development. He stated that connectivity is no longer a luxury but a necessity and a gateway to education, entrepreneurship, digital services, and economic participation.

The corporation's objective is to connect more households, businesses, corporations, and government institutions while building a stronger digital foundation for Eswatini. Fakudze expressed his excitement about more locals experiencing the benefits of reliable, high-speed connectivity at affordable rates. He reiterated that the promotions demonstrate EPTC's commitment to making digital opportunities more accessible to the nation.

EPTC plans to continue investing in infrastructure, technology, and service improvements, with a focus on delivering reliable, convenient, and customer-centered solutions. The corporation is on an aggressive journey to rebuild its network and invest in high-speed, fibre-based infrastructure.
