El-Sisi stressed the need to attract and boost investment in cloud computing and AI, alongside expanding the construction of mega data centres. The meeting addressed cybersecurity as a fundamental pillar of the digital transformation strategy and a key element in strengthening confidence in digital services. The minister reviewed the implementation status of the presidential initiative "Digilians," which is being implemented in cooperation with the Egyptian Military Academy. El-Sisi stressed the need to adhere to standards of accuracy, transparency, and impartiality in selecting beneficiaries of the initiative.
