They visited the palm farm, which serves as a gene bank, and learned about the scientific efforts to preserve and document the genetic resources of palm trees in the region. Officials discussed ways to develop methods for caring for these varieties and finding new ways to benefit from them in research and economically.
The delegation also visited the camel farm to monitor the progress of the construction and preparation work. During the visit, they reviewed the obstacles facing the final stages of implementation. The officials also inspected the center's modern irrigation system, which relies on renewable energy sources, specifically solar energy, to operate the farm's well.
