The EOHR called for several measures to promote the right to access information, including enhancing mechanisms for regular and clear access to public information and data. They also recommended developing official digital platforms to facilitate searching for and obtaining information, taking into account the needs of people with disabilities. Additionally, the organization suggested supporting the publication of accurate and up-to-date data and information in clear language.
The EOHR's recommendations also included supporting media and information literacy programs to combat the spread of misinformation and empower citizens to verify information sources and evaluate them. Furthermore, the organization emphasized the importance of promoting societal awareness of the right to access information as part of the system of rights and public freedoms.
