The closing ceremony began with a speech by Dr. Majdi Sharara, head of the Youth and Sports Committee, who welcomed guests, including Eng. Alaa Abdel Lah Mustafa, Dr. Sobhi Nasr, and Eng. Mustafa Al-Zahid. He also appreciated the efforts of the organizing committee, comprising Dr. Abdel Rahman Abdel Samie, Eng. Mohamed Helali, Eng. Mohamed Nabil, and Captain Gharib Ibrahim.
The tournament saw the participation of teams from various schools, private institutions, and residential compounds in New Cairo City. This allowed many young players to engage in organized sports competitions, expanding the base of sports practice and identifying promising talents, especially those not affiliated with sports clubs or organizations.
The closing ceremony featured an exhibition match between Safwa Club and Al-Rawad Club, with Safwa Club emerging victorious. The ceremony also included the awarding of cups and medals to the winning teams and players. The "Hassad Al-Khair" team, led by Dr. Mohamed Hosni, won the tournament's cup after a remarkable performance.
The "Hassad Al-Khair" team received several individual and collective awards, including the best player, best goalkeeper, top scorer, and strongest team awards, after defeating "Hada'iq Al-Mohandisin" team. These awards recognized the team's outstanding performance throughout the tournament.
In his speech, Eng. Alaa Abdel Lah Mustafa emphasized the importance of supporting youth tournaments and encouraging young people to engage in sports. He highlighted the role of such events in discovering and developing young talents, promoting discipline, teamwork, and positive competition.
The closing ceremony was attended by several prominent figures, including Dr. Saeed Amer, former Secretary-General of the Al-Azhar Fatwa Committee, and various leaders, representatives of teams, and parents.
