The Egyptian Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy, through the Holding Company for Electricity Distribution, offers an online service for citizens to inquire about their monthly electricity consumption. This service is part of the sector's plan for digital transformation. The ministry provides multiple platforms for citizens to easily access their electricity bills.

Citizens can check their October 2026 electricity bills through the Ministry of Electricity's official website. The process involves visiting the website, navigating to the services section, and selecting the option to inquire about direct bills. Users must then enter their details, including their full name, governorate, 14-digit national ID, and 10-digit meter number. After verifying the information, users can click on the inquiry button to view their bill.

Another platform for inquiring about electricity bills is the Unified Services Platform for Electricity. By visiting this platform, citizens can select the option to inquire about bills, click on "new request," and log in. They must then enter their name and 10-digit meter number. Once they click on the inquiry button, their bill value will appear, and they can choose to pay through various methods, including online payment.

In addition to the Ministry's website and the Unified Services Platform, citizens can also check their electricity bills through the websites of the nine electricity distribution companies. These companies cover different governorates and regions across Egypt. For instance, the North Cairo Electricity Distribution Company serves areas such as Shubra, Sahael, and Roouf El Faraj, among others.

The South Cairo Electricity Distribution Company covers areas including Abdeen, West Cairo, and Helwan. Its website allows citizens to inquire about their monthly bills. Similarly, the Canal Electricity Distribution Company serves governorates such as Ismailia, Sharqia, and Suez, while the Middle Egypt Electricity Distribution Company covers Fayoum, Beni Suef, and Minya.

Other distribution companies include the Upper Egypt Electricity Distribution Company, which serves Sohag, Qena, and Aswan; the Beheira Electricity Distribution Company, covering the Beheira governorate; and the North Delta Electricity Distribution Company, serving Dakahlia and Damietta. Each company has its own website for bill inquiries.

The Alexandria Electricity Distribution Company serves the Alexandria governorate, and the South Delta Electricity Distribution Company covers areas in the Gharbiya governorate. These platforms aim to make it convenient for citizens to access their electricity bills and manage their payments online.
