The Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in collaboration with the Institute of Leadership Preparation, has launched a training program called "The Impact Remains" for university students across the country. The program aims to equip students with practical and specialized skills to enhance their ability to work in teams, take responsibility, and serve the community. The program was organized under the auspices of Dr. Abdel Aziz Kansoua, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The program was implemented under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Al-Gioushy, Head of the Education Sector, Dr. Karim Hamam, Advisor to the Minister for Student Activities and Director of the Institute of Leadership Preparation, and Ahmed Abu Al-Mahasn, Head of the Central Administration for Technical Education and Student Affairs. The program included a variety of activities, starting with reception and accommodation, followed by a motivational session, opening activities, and a salute to the flag.
Dr. Karim Hamam stated that the program is not just a student activity, but a practical school where students learn responsibility, teamwork, and the ability to take initiative and give. He emphasized that the real impact of any experience does not end with its conclusion, but rather remains in the student's personality and the values, skills, and ability to serve their community that they acquire.
The training program included specialized cultural activities for young people, waste recycling, and how to form a scout group. It also covered community service and development, first aid, maritime specialization, and aerial cultural specialization. Additionally, the program included training workshops for a team of scouts from the higher institutes and technological universities sector to prepare and train them to participate in the University Youth Week in Minya.
The program concluded with a closing ceremony where certificates were awarded to the participants in appreciation of their participation and completion of the training program. The program combined theoretical, specialized, and practical aspects to support the students' ability to continue scouting and community work.
The program aimed to instill values of discipline, cooperation, and initiative in the students, making student activities a real space for building personality and refining experiences.
