The Egyptian Ministry of Culture, represented by the Theater Sector, has concluded the seventh phase of its "Confrontation and Roaming" project in the Red Sea Governorate. The project, which was conducted in collaboration with the Presidential Initiative "Hayat Karima," the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and several other institutions, provided over 10,000 activities and artistic performances. These activities were offered to people of all age groups, with the aim of promoting cultural and artistic awareness in the region.

The project's closing ceremony was attended by Dr. Abdel Aziz Qanswa, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, who is also acting as Minister of Culture. Dr. Qanswa emphasized that the project's success demonstrates that cultural justice has become a tangible reality in Egypt, with the Ministry of Culture working to provide cultural and intellectual services to all citizens, including those in remote areas. He also highlighted the importance of the project in promoting the values of citizenship and national identity.

The project, which lasted for a week, included a range of activities, including theatrical performances, artistic workshops, and cultural competitions. These activities were conducted at various cultural centers, including the Shalatin Culture Palace, Abu Ramad Culture Palace, Ras Hadarba House of Culture, and Halayeb Culture Palace. The project also included the distribution of over 35,000 free books, published by the Egyptian General Authority for Books.

The project's seventh phase began in Qena Governorate and toured several governorates and border areas, with the aim of providing cultural services to around 250 villages. The project included a comprehensive program of artistic and cultural activities, including nine theatrical performances, produced by the Egyptian Theater House, and folk art performances. It also included a program to discover and nurture young talents, in cooperation with over 20 universities and hundreds of schools.

The project's activities were well-received by the local community, with many residents attending the performances and workshops. The project also included a special focus on traditional handicrafts and heritage, with workshops and exhibitions showcasing local products. This aimed to promote the region's cultural heritage and support local artisans.

The "Confrontation and Roaming" project is part of the Egyptian Ministry of Culture's efforts to promote cultural justice and provide cultural services to all citizens.
