Egyptian Housing Minister Randa El-Menashy recently conducted a review of ongoing housing projects in New Cairo and New Mansoura cities. The minister assessed the progress of Egypt's "Sakan Egypt" project in New Cairo, which comprises 2736 housing units. To date, 2520 units have been completed, with nine buildings currently under construction. El-Menashy emphasized the need for timely completion and adherence to technical specifications.

During her visit, El-Menashy was briefed on the outcomes of an inspection tour conducted by Mohamed Zakaria, head of the New Cairo City Development Authority. Zakaria inspected the construction sites, focusing on internal finishing work in several units. The minister stressed the importance of accelerating implementation rates while ensuring quality and avoiding any shortcomings. She also directed officials to promptly address any issues that arise during construction.

In New Mansoura city, El-Menashy reviewed the progress of housing projects, including "Sakan Egypt" and "Jannah" in the second phase's sixth district. The "Sakan Egypt" project comprises 44 buildings, while "Jannah" consists of 224 buildings. El-Menashy was informed about the current implementation rates, construction progress, and utility connections for these projects.

The minister was accompanied by officials who provided updates on the infrastructure work in the area, including water supply networks, sewage systems, road construction, and electricity services. El-Menashy underscored the necessity of continued on-site monitoring and daily follow-up to ensure adherence to schedules and technical specifications.

El-Menashy emphasized that these efforts aim to complete the urban development plan in the second phase of New Mansoura city. The goal is to provide integrated residential areas for the city's residents while guaranteeing the timely completion of the "Sakan Egypt" project in New Cairo.
