Egyptian Housing Minister Randa El-Manshawe held a meeting with Head of the Central Agency for Reconstruction Hani El-Skandaran and agency officials to monitor the implementation of several national projects. These projects include service buildings and constructions within the presidential initiative "Hayat Karima" to develop the Egyptian countryside and development clusters in Sinai. The meeting was attended by ministry officials and heads of agencies affiliated with the Central Agency for Reconstruction.
The meeting aimed to accelerate the implementation of national and developmental projects and maximize the utilization of government investments directed towards them. Minister El-Manshawe emphasized that the Central Agency for Reconstruction is one of the most important executive arms of the Ministry of Housing due to its expertise, technical capabilities, and wide presence across various governorates.
During the meeting, El-Skandaran reviewed the implementation status of several projects within the "Hayat Karima" initiative in the road and hospital sectors. The meeting covered 32 projects within the first phase of the initiative. Additionally, the meeting discussed the implementation status of the first phase of a project to establish four urban development clusters in Rafah and Sheikh Zuweid in North Sinai.
The development clusters in Sinai aim to support comprehensive development efforts in the region and provide integrated urban communities. The meeting also covered updates on the project to develop the Telal Al-Fustat gardens in the heart of historical Cairo, which spans an area of 500 acres in Old Cairo.
Minister El-Manshawe stressed the importance of continuous monitoring and on-site follow-up of various projects, boosting implementation rates, and enhancing coordination among all concerned parties. She emphasized the need to address any challenges or obstacles while maximizing the benefits of investments directed towards these projects.
