The Egyptian Governorate of Aswan is making significant progress in completing projects under the presidential initiative "Hayat Karima". According to Governor Amr Lashin, a total of 1993 projects are underway across various sectors, with 1809 already completed, achieving a 90% completion rate. The governor emphasized the importance of maintaining current work rates and accelerating the pace of implementation to complete the remaining projects according to schedule.

A recent meeting was held to review the executive status of "Hayat Karima" projects in the first phase, which includes 100 villages in the governorate. The meeting was attended by deputy governor Osama Razek Dawoud, directors, and officials of concerned authorities, as well as heads of centers and cities. The discussion focused on reviewing the implementation status of projects scheduled to be completed in September and October.

The governorate is working to complete the remaining projects, which include vital sectors such as drinking water and sanitation, natural gas, electricity, healthcare, and education. These projects aim to improve the quality of life for residents in the targeted villages. Governor Lashin stressed that the current phase is crucial in completing the remaining projects, emphasizing the need to adhere to timelines and prevent delays.

To ensure the smooth implementation of projects, Governor Lashin has instructed officials to prepare a detailed statement of projects to be completed by mid-October and the end of the month. He also ordered the creation of a working group via WhatsApp to monitor progress and address any obstacles or needs that arise during implementation.

The governorate aims to achieve 100% completion of all projects in the first phase by the end of the year. The initiative targets 100 villages in Aswan, with a focus on developing basic infrastructure and public services. Governor Lashin emphasized that the goal is not only to complete construction but also to ensure the operation and utilization of projects.
