The Egyptian government has announced the end of its work-from-home policy, effectively scrapping a decision made earlier this year. In addition to ending the work-from-home policy, the cabinet also approved a new program aimed at developing leadership skills among young Egyptians. The program, which will be implemented by the National Academy for Training and Qualifying Youth, aims to prepare and qualify cadres with the necessary leadership and administrative abilities to fill leadership positions in the government. The program is open to employees in the public sector who meet certain criteria.
The cabinet also approved several other decisions, including the inclusion of a number of martyrs and injured people from the armed forces and civil employees in the wars and operations to the Fund for the honor of martyrs and victims of the wars and terrorist operations. This move is seen as a gesture of appreciation for the sacrifices made by these individuals and their families.
Furthermore, the cabinet approved a contract with the Supreme Council of Antiquities to implement a project to mitigate the risks at the Al-Mutawalli Mosque, also known as the "Al-Tareen Al-Kabir" Mosque, in Mahalla Al-Kubra, Gharbeya Governorate. This project aims to preserve the historical and cultural significance of the mosque.
The cabinet also approved a contract with Damanhour University to implement the remaining works for the project to establish a medical college and university hospital. This project is considered one of the national projects that serve the education and health sectors in Beheira Governorate.
In addition, the cabinet approved a request from the Port Said Governorate to dispose of a plot of land with an area of 14,756.25 square meters for the benefit of the East Delta Mills Company, one of the state-owned companies that work to provide strategic goods. This move is expected to contribute to the development of the region.
The cabinet also approved a request from the Eastern Governorate to renew a contract with EgyptAir for the use of the company's headquarters in Zagazig. This decision is expected to alleviate the burden on citizens in the governorate and provide them with more convenient services.
