Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty met with his Rwandan counterpart, Olivier Nduhungirehe, on Tuesday, on the margins of the UN General Assembly meetings. He rejected unilateral measures and emphasized that the Nile River is a shared water resource that must be managed according to international law, specifically the principles of not causing harm and the necessity of cooperation through prior notification, consultation, and consensus.
