The authority received 102 complaints from various sources, including the government's complaint system, the Consumer Protection Agency, and its own website and hotline. The authority addressed some of these complaints and is currently investigating the rest. The complaints covered various issues, including food safety concerns and non-compliance with regulations.

The authority's inspectors also conducted on-site inspections of wheat storage facilities, rice mills, and bakeries to verify compliance with technical requirements and approved standards. These inspections aimed to ensure the production and distribution of safe and suitable food products. The authority's efforts have resulted in the registration of 1,801 storage facilities.

In addition to inspections, the authority took measures to address non-compliant food shipments. During the past week, it detained 138 imported food shipments and continued to hold 18 rejected shipments pending further action. The authority also re-exported two rejected shipments, ensuring the smooth movement of imports and the highest level of health protection for citizens.
