Abdel Latif began the meeting by congratulating all educational leaders, teachers, and staff on Teacher's Day and the 6th of October celebrations.
The Minister expressed his appreciation for the significant efforts made by educational leaders, directors, teachers, and all staff within the education system. These efforts have contributed to high attendance rates and a smooth start to the academic year across various governorates. Abdel Latif emphasized that the achievements of the past period reflect the importance of fieldwork, continuous monitoring, and cooperation among all elements of the education system.

He emphasized that this issue is a priority for the Ministry of Education. The Minister also highlighted the responsibility of educational leaders to proactively identify and address challenges before they escalate into complaints. He encouraged a positive and swift response to any complaints received by any department or directorate.
Abdel Latif noted that the high attendance rates across the country impose greater responsibility on educational leaders to maintain this momentum. This can be achieved by providing a suitable school environment for students and teachers. He emphasized that students' regular attendance at schools is a crucial step, which is completed by providing an appropriate educational environment. This environment should enable students to learn and benefit from their school day.
The Minister highlighted that the ongoing field monitoring by directorates and educational departments includes continuing to improve the quality of the educational process. This involves dealing positively and swiftly with any challenges or complaints. Abdel Latif directed educational directorates to prepare well for monthly exams, reviewing them thoroughly before implementation. The Minister directed all educational directorates to identify students with weak reading and writing skills, enroll them in remedial programs, and continuously monitor their progress.
