On October 6, 2026, Field Marshal Ashraf Salim Zaher, Commander-in-Chief of the Egyptian Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production, witnessed the graduation ceremony of the 170th batch of the Reserve Officers' College. The ceremony, named after Major Eid Hamid Ibrahim, was attended by several high-ranking officials, including Field Marshal Ahmad Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, and a number of governors, branch commanders, and senior military leaders.

Field Marshal Ashraf Salim Zaher then awarded the top graduates the Military Duty Medal of the Second Class, which was approved by the President of Egypt in recognition of their outstanding performance during their studies at the college. The family of Major Eid Hamid Ibrahim was also honored during the ceremony. The graduates took an oath of allegiance, marking their joining the Egyptian Armed Forces.

In his speech, Major General Mohammad Sid Hassan, director of the Reserve Officers' College, highlighted the support provided by the Egyptian Armed Forces' leadership to the college. This support aims to enhance the educational, military, and physical capabilities of the students, enabling them to be creative and highly prepared to defend the country and preserve its resources.
