The Egyptian banking sector has seen a rise in Saudi Riyal exchange rates at the close of Thursday's session. This increase is of particular interest to expatriates seeking to maximize their investment returns on remittances and support household liquidity in the local market. Various banks across the country have reported different rates for buying and selling the Saudi Riyal.

The Saudi Riyal's highest buying rate was recorded at 13.95 Egyptian Pounds in the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB). Conversely, the lowest buying rate was found at the Suez Canal Bank, standing at 13.86 Egyptian Pounds. These rates indicate a variation in exchange rates across different banks, offering customers options for better deals.

In addition to ADIB, several other banks have reported their exchange rates for the Saudi Riyal. The Next Bank (NXT) offered a buying rate of 13.92 Egyptian Pounds, with a selling rate of 13.96 Egyptian Pounds. The Kuwaiti National Bank (ABK) and HSBC both recorded a buying rate of 13.91 Egyptian Pounds and a selling rate of 13.95 Egyptian Pounds.

Other banks, including the Arab International Bank (AIB), the Egyptian Gulf Bank (EG Bank), and the Kuwait Finance House (KFH), have also posted their rates. AIB, EG Bank, and KFH all reported a buying rate of 13.91 Egyptian Pounds, with varying selling rates. These consistent rates across several banks suggest a stable market trend.

Some banks have slightly lower buying and selling rates for the Saudi Riyal. The Housing and Development Bank (HDB) offered a buying rate of 13.90 Egyptian Pounds, while the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) and Bank of Egypt (BM) both recorded a buying rate of 13.89 Egyptian Pounds. These rates are competitive and reflect the diverse options available to customers.

The Commercial International Bank (CIB), Al Baraka Bank, and Faisal Bank have also announced their exchange rates. CIB reported a buying rate of 13.89 Egyptian Pounds, while Al Baraka Bank and Faisal Bank both offered a buying rate of 13.88 Egyptian Pounds. These rates are among the lower end of the spectrum but still reflect the overall upward trend.

The Alexandria Bank and Suez Canal Bank have the lowest buying rates among the listed banks. The Alexandria Bank recorded a buying rate of 13.87 Egyptian Pounds, while the Suez Canal Bank offered 13.86 Egyptian Pounds. Despite these lower rates, customers can still find competitive deals across various banks.
