EgyptAir Cargo has successfully concluded its participation in the Al Alamein Aviation and Space Salon 2026. The company achieved significant commercial results and concluded new operational agreements to support its expansion plans in international markets. These agreements aim to strengthen its network of partners and increase cargo volumes on its various routes. The agreements were signed on the sidelines of the salon, in the presence of key officials.

The President of EgyptAir Cargo's Board of Directors, Pilot Ihab El-Tahtawy, held a series of commercial and coordination meetings with major cargo agents and authorized commercial agents from different international markets. These meetings resulted in the signing and renewal of several contracts with commercial and air cargo agents in strategic markets. These markets include Turkey, Germany, the Benelux region (Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg), Jordan, and Hong Kong.

The newly signed agreements are expected to strengthen EgyptAir Cargo's presence in these markets, consolidate its competitiveness, and support its expansion plans in the next phase. El-Tahtawy also held meetings with major international cargo agents to discuss cooperation prospects and ways to increase activity volumes. The discussions focused on operational and commercial plans for the upcoming winter season.

The meetings led to several agreements and operational coordination arrangements to support and develop cargo flights during the winter season. New destinations include New York, São Paulo, Kuwait, Asmara, Juba, and Johannesburg. This momentum will enable EgyptAir Cargo to meet the needs of various markets and strengthen air cargo connections between continents through its network.

EgyptAir Cargo is exploring new opportunities in Asia and Australia as part of its future expansion plans. The company is studying the possibility of operating long-haul charter flights from Hong Kong to Mumbai. This new route would complement its current cargo network and capitalize on growing trade between Asian, Middle Eastern, and African markets.

EgyptAir Cargo is also considering opening new routes to Sydney, Australia, and Algiers. These plans align with the company's strategy to expand into new markets and destinations. By increasing its global presence, EgyptAir Cargo aims to support Egypt's exports and strengthen its position in the international air cargo market.

As part of its efforts to support Egyptian exports, EgyptAir Cargo announced a new destination: Cardiff. This addition reflects the company's commitment to promoting Egyptian trade and providing efficient cargo services to its customers. With its expanded network and strengthened partnerships, EgyptAir Cargo is poised for growth and increased activity in the coming months.
