The Egyptian government has announced that registration for the third phase of the "Your Home in Egypt" initiative will begin on November 10, 2026. The initiative, launched in collaboration with the Ministry of Housing, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Egyptian diaspora, aims to provide Egyptians living abroad with the opportunity to own homes in their home country. The third phase will offer approximately 4,000 units in various projects across several new cities.

The units on offer will be located in cities such as New El Alamein, New Cairo, Shrouk, 6th of October, Sheikh Zayed, New Administrative Capital, New Mansoura, and New Damietta. The projects include "Madinti, Janna, Zilal, Diyarna, Mazareen, and Zahia," among others. The initiative is part of the government's efforts to provide Egyptians abroad with investment opportunities and to encourage them to connect with their homeland.

According to Housing Minister Randa El-Minshawi, the initiative is in line with the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, who emphasized the importance of providing Egyptians abroad with opportunities to own homes in Egypt. El-Minshawi added that the third phase of the initiative will offer a range of units with different specifications and prices, and that the government is working to simplify the registration and payment processes.

The registration process for the third phase will be conducted electronically, and Egyptians abroad will be able to make dollar transfers in advance, which will be reviewed and verified before being added to their accounts. This, according to Dr. Walid Abbas, Deputy Housing Minister, aims to facilitate the registration process and avoid any delays or obstacles that may arise during the transfer process.

Dr. Ahmed Amr, Supervisor of the Real Estate and Commercial Sector at the New Urban Communities Authority, stated that the registration process will begin on November 10, and that Egyptians abroad will be able to create their electronic accounts and make dollar transfers with a minimum value of $5,000 per transfer. The transfers will be added to the account holder's balance, which will be used to book a unit.

The "Your Home in Egypt" initiative is open to Egyptians living abroad who are at least 21 years old, and registration can be done through the initiative's website. The initiative's hotline, 19010, and social media pages are also available for inquiries. According to Dr. Amr, the registration process does not imply the allocation of units, and the priority of allocation will be determined based on the procedures and dates set for the actual booking.

The Egyptian government has emphasized its commitment to providing Egyptians abroad with investment opportunities and encouraging them to connect with their homeland. The "Your Home in Egypt" initiative is part of this effort, and it is expected to attract a significant number of applicants. The government has promised to provide more details on the initiative, including the exact dates for booking and the payment procedures.
