Furthermore, the institution has extended operating hours for outpatient clinics until 8 or 9 pm and contracted with university professors to ensure high-quality medical care.
Dr. Shaqweer emphasized the institution's commitment to keeping emergency departments open to all patients and addressing specialist shortages through rapid recruitment of consultants. This strategic approach aims to integrate services across institutions and minimize patient referrals. By bolstering its medical staff and services, the institution seeks to provide comprehensive care and alleviate the need for external referrals.
New units for bone marrow transplantation and fetal medicine are being established. A bone marrow transplantation unit has been set up at Heliopolis Hospital, with another unit planned for Mabraa Egypt Old. Additionally, a fetal medicine unit has been launched at Mabraa Maadi. The institution is collaborating with international experts to enhance its medical capabilities.
The institution has successfully conducted over 70 medical consultations and 10 surgeries, resulting in two successful births without requiring postnatal intervention.
