Sira Education has announced a significant increase in student enrollment for the 2026/2027 academic year, with 11,000 new students joining its network of schools and universities. This brings the total number of students in its basic, pre-university, and higher education sectors to over 84,000 across Egypt. The company's growth is driven by expansion in various education sectors and increasing demand for its services.
According to Mohamed Qala, CEO of Sira Education, the 2026/2027 academic year marks a strategic milestone for the company. The enrollment of 11,000 new students reflects continued growth and increasing confidence among parents in the company's education system. The company's institutions received over 46,000 admission requests and personal interviews, resulting in 17,000 new students joining its schools and universities.
Sira Education's Saxony University in Egypt (SEU) has successfully doubled its student enrollment in its third year of operation. The university has established strategic partnerships, including one with GB Corp in automotive mechatronics. Additionally, SEU has launched a new hotel management technology program in collaboration with Singapore's ITE Educational Services and added a College of Agricultural Technology and an Artificial Intelligence program.
In the higher education sector, Sira Education welcomed its first batch of 401 students. The company has also expanded its network of schools, adding two new schools specializing in applied agricultural technology in Ismailia and Sharqia governorates. Furthermore, Sira Education opened three new kindergarten branches in Asyut, Menoufia, and Mivida, Cairo.
The company's summer schools have seen significant growth, with 5,000 students enrolled this year, compared to 500 last year, representing a tenfold increase. Sira Education is executing several strategic projects, including the International Center for Advanced Sciences and Technology in Damietta, which will accommodate 30,000 students upon completion.
Sira Education is also expanding its presence outside Egypt, with its subsidiary Sira Global Ventures acquiring a majority stake in Falcon Academy, a private school platform in Northern Virginia, USA. The academy has seen a significant increase in student enrollment, from 103 to 207 students, and plans to finance new classrooms and develop a comprehensive campus.
The company aims to reach 100,000 students by 2030, while continuing to expand its education projects and build international partnerships. Sira Education's growth strategy relies on partnerships, including a joint project worth EGP 2.35 billion with Madina Egypt to develop a new school and a partnership with Swedii Capital Holding to develop new universities and schools.
