Egyptian Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Randa El-Menashy has been monitoring the progress of several projects in New El Alamein City. The city is a key example of integrated urban development, aiming to achieve sustainable and balanced growth in the North Coast region. El-Menashy emphasized the importance of adhering to the set timelines and quality standards for the projects. She also highlighted the city's goal of providing a range of housing options, services, and investment activities.
New El Alamein City is witnessing continuous implementation of residential, service, tourism, and investment projects, along with infrastructure works and road networks. El-Menashy received a report on the progress of several housing projects, including T-Resident in the housing area and the "Dyarna" project. The report followed her recent tour of the project sites, which aimed to ensure that work is proceeding according to plan and with the highest quality standards.
The Minister of Housing emphasized the importance of ongoing on-site monitoring and coordination with executing companies to raise implementation rates and complete the remaining work. El-Menashy also directed the need to focus on external facades, site landscaping, and tree planting. Furthermore, she stressed the importance of adhering to quality standards and addressing any observations to ensure that units are ready for delivery to clients.
As part of efforts to attract investments and promote diversified activities in new cities, El-Menashy reviewed the investment opportunities offered in New El Alamein City. Between October 1 and 15, a set of distinctive investment opportunities was offered to support service, residential, and medical activities within the city. The Minister highlighted the need to continue providing diverse investment opportunities to investors and offering spaces suitable for various activities.
The Ministry of Housing is working to support the development plans and promote economic activity in the city. El-Menashy also reviewed the implementation of the C3 road tunnel, which intersects with the international coastal road from Alexandria to Matruh. The project includes traffic coordination to ensure smooth traffic flow and citizen safety.
El-Menashy stressed the need to adhere to the designated closure sites, traffic diversions, and alternative paths. She also emphasized the importance of continuous coordination with relevant authorities to ensure traffic flow and citizen safety. The Ministry is taking necessary measures to guide road users to alternative paths during the implementation of the works.
The New El Alamein City Authority has also been working to enhance cooperation and communication with academic institutions. Recently, the Authority received a delegation of students from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Architecture, at Alexandria University. The visit aimed to introduce the students to the experience of planning and developing new coastal cities.
