According to Samia Sami, Assistant Minister of Tourism and Antiquities for Tourism Companies and Chair of the Higher Committee for Umrah and Hajj, the new regulations aim to develop the tourist Hajj system. The regulations are based on the provisions of the law regulating Hajj and establishing the unified Egyptian Hajj portal, as well as the law regulating tourism companies.
The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities will hold a public electronic draw for all levels of tourist Hajj and announce the results on September 30. The draw is for various categories of tourist Hajj, including the "towers" category, "camps" category with classes A, B, and C, and the "economic air" category with classes A, B, and C.
The 2027 tourist Hajj programs cater to different needs and capabilities of citizens, with prices ranging from 230,000 to 580,000 Egyptian pounds. The programs include the tourist Hajj "towers" at 580,000 pounds, tourist Hajj "camps" with classes A, B, and C at 650,000, 545,000, and 395,000 pounds respectively.
Other programs include the economic Hajj with classes A, B, and C at 310,000, 290,000, and 270,000 pounds respectively, and the land Hajj with classes A, B, and C at 260,000, 255,000, and 230,000 pounds respectively. These programs provide a range of options for citizens to choose from based on their budget.
