A kilogram of packaged flour costs 18 pounds, and 800 grams of pasta costs 17 pounds. Other goods, such as 500 grams of lentils, cost 21 pounds, and a 500-gram package of fava beans costs 9 pounds.
The list of subsidized goods also includes 400 grams of pasta for 8.5 pounds, a 6-pound pack of chicken broth, and 800 grams of industrial ghee for 36 pounds. A 40-gram package of fine tea costs 5 pounds, while a 300-gram bottle of ketchup costs 8 pounds. Additionally, 140 grams of canned tuna costs 18 pounds, and 350 grams of jam costs 16 pounds.
The Ministry of Supply continues to provide various goods at subsidized prices to support low-income families. A 250-gram package of Tetra Pak cheese costs 7.50 pounds, while a 125-gram block of white cheese costs 4.5 pounds. An 800-gram package of automatic washing powder costs 25 pounds, and an 800-gram package of hand washing powder costs 16 pounds.
Other goods available at subsidized prices include 125 grams of washing soap for 3 pounds, 125 grams of toilet soap for 7.50 pounds, and 125 grams of powdered milk for 25.5 pounds. A 900-milliliter bottle of 5% vinegar costs 6 pounds, and a 300-gram package of table salt costs 1.25 pounds.
Furthermore, the subsidized goods include various types of biscuits and sweets. A package of Youves biscuits costs 1.5 pounds, while a package of Youves wafers costs 2.75 pounds. A package of Tomorrow biscuits costs 3 pounds, and a package of Boo biscuits costs 3.75 pounds. Additionally, a 140-gram package of white tahini costs 3.75 pounds, and an 18-gram package of instant coffee costs 4 pounds.
