The Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum has initiated three new community projects in Matruh, Asyut, and Alexandria, aiming to support local communities in areas where the ministry operates. These projects align with the directives of Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Wealth, Karim Badawi, and support the goals of Egypt's Vision 2030. The projects were developed as part of a comprehensive plan by the Ministry for community initiatives, overseen by the Central Administration for Social Responsibility.

In Matruh, the petroleum company Tharwa signed a cooperation protocol with the Ibrahim Badran Foundation for Charitable Work to operate a fixed medical clinic. The clinic will provide medical examination and treatment services in three specialties to approximately 640 beneficiaries. Additionally, a health awareness program will be implemented for the local population. This initiative seeks to improve healthcare services in the region.

In Asyut, the Asyut Petroleum Refining Company concluded the second edition of a program designed to qualify young people for work in digital freelance jobs. The program targets university students and graduates, aiming to equip them with the necessary digital skills. This will enable them to engage in freelance work and entrepreneurship, opening up new opportunities for their career development.

In Alexandria, the Amil Petroleum Company participated in the closing ceremony of a training program for midwives and healthcare providers during pregnancy and childbirth. The event was attended by Alexandria Governor, Engineer Ahmed Khaled Hassan Saeed, and Dr. Abdelah Al-Alfi, Deputy Minister of Health and Population for Population Affairs. The program is part of a project to enhance the efficiency of medical teams and improve population characteristics.

The training program in Alexandria aims to improve the care provided to mothers and children. It also supports the implementation of the Egyptian midwifery system and the "Golden 1,000 Days" initiative. By enhancing the skills of midwives and healthcare providers, the program seeks to reduce maternal and infant mortality rates and improve overall healthcare outcomes.

These community projects demonstrate the Ministry of Petroleum's commitment to supporting local communities and contributing to Egypt's socio-economic development. By investing in healthcare and youth empowerment, the ministry aims to create a positive impact on the lives of citizens and promote sustainable development.

The Ministry of Petroleum's community initiatives are part of a broader effort to engage the private sector in social responsibility and community development. By partnering with local organizations and government agencies, the ministry can leverage its resources and expertise to drive positive change and improve the quality of life for Egyptians.
