Egypt's Ministry of Culture has launched the seventh phase of its "Confrontation and Touring" project, a nationwide initiative aimed at promoting cultural and artistic activities in the country's Delta and Sinai regions. The project, which coincides with the 53rd anniversary of Egypt's October victory, is being implemented in collaboration with the "Hayat Karima" presidential initiative, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and several other national entities.

The project was launched in the East Delta region, specifically in the city of Zagazig, where a large-scale event was held at the Zagazig Palace of Culture. The event was attended by Hazem Al-Ashmoni, the Governor of East Delta, and Ahmed Shaban, the military advisor to the governor. The program included a theatrical performance titled "Al-Simsimya," which documents the bravery of the Egyptian people during the wars.

The project also includes a series of workshops aimed at discovering and nurturing talent in the fields of acting, directing, and other performing arts. These workshops are being conducted by renowned academics and artists, including Dr. Ayman Al-Shewi, Dr. Tarek Ammar, and Saeed Suleiman. The workshops are targeting students from schools and universities in the East Delta, West Delta, and Minoufiya governorates.

In the North Sinai region, the project is being implemented in the city of Arish, where a series of training workshops are being held at the Masayid Cultural House. The workshops are being conducted by Dr. Refaa Hassanein, a renowned expert in children's theater, and Mohamed Fouzi, a veteran puppeteer. The program also includes a theatrical performance titled "Golden October," which is being presented by the Cairo Puppet Theater troupe.

The "Confrontation and Touring" project is part of Egypt's efforts to promote cultural and artistic activities in the country's rural and border areas. The project aims to provide young people with access to quality artistic and cultural programs, while also promoting national values and a sense of belonging.

The project is also providing free books to young people in these regions, with over 4,000 books being distributed. The books are being provided by the Ministry of Culture, and are aimed at promoting reading and learning among young people.

The seventh phase of the "Confrontation and Touring" project will continue throughout the month of October, with teams of artists and trainers traveling to remote and rural areas to provide cultural and artistic programs to young people. The project is seen as an important part of Egypt's efforts to promote its soft power and to foster a sense of national pride and identity.
