The Egyptian Ministry of Culture has announced a program of artistic events to celebrate the 53rd anniversary of the October War victory. The program, organized by the theatrical department, will run from October 5 and will include free performances and cultural events in Cairo, Alexandria, and several cities and villages in North and South Sinai. The events are sponsored by Dr. Abdel Aziz Kansoua, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Acting Minister of Culture, and Dr. Ayman El-Shewi, Head of the Theater Sector.

The program includes a theatrical performance titled "Sahina Ya Sinai" which will be presented at the Hanagar Square in the Egyptian Opera House, starting from October 15 for 15 nights. The play tells the story of the Egyptian army and police's bravery in defending Sinai and fighting terrorism and extremist ideas, as well as the events of the 1973 October victory and the commemoration of the martyr Colonel Ahmed Mansi and the heroes of the 101st Battalion.

The theatrical performance "Sahina Ya Sinai" is written and composed by Khamis Azzarib, with a cast including Mohamed Nasr, Nadia El-Shweikh, Hatem Azzat, and Riem Tarek. The play is directed by Essam El-Shweikh and features a team of artists, including set designer Amr Hassan, costume designer Dr. Nehad Drag, and music composer Hatem Azzat.

In addition to the theatrical performances, the Ministry of Culture will also present "Salon Hakayat Al-Masrah", a series of stories and memories related to the theater and the events of October. The first story, titled "Hadith fi Oktobar", will be presented on the stage of the National Theater, prepared and presented by Mohamed Bahgat and directed by Samah Majid.

In Alexandria, the Alexandria Theater Group, led by artist Mohamed Morsi, will present a celebration titled "Oshrya.. Hakayat Al-Abtal", which combines theatrical performance, music, singing, and film. The celebration will take place on October 5 at 8 pm at the Piram Tonssi Theater and will be open to the public for free.

The Cairo Puppet Theater will also participate in the celebrations with the "Al-Muwafaha wa Al-Tajawl" project, presenting a puppet show titled "Akhtar Al-Dhahabi" in several cities and villages in North and South Sinai from October 5 to 15. The show aims to tell the story of the Egyptian army's bravery and sacrifices during the October War in a puppet show format.

The celebrations will also include a screening of national songs on the screens of the theatrical halls of the Ministry of Culture in Cairo and Alexandria, starting from October 5, in coincidence with the 53rd anniversary of the October War victory.
