Egypt's Ministry of Awqaf, through its printing press, has made significant strides in developing its operations and enhancing efficiency during the first quarter of the 2026/2027 financial year, from July 1 to September 30, 2026. The press has focused on executing maintenance and renovation work on its premises, including electrical and plumbing upgrades, and construction of ramps and flooring to connect paper storage facilities to the main building.

The renovation work also involved improvements to the interior of the building and printing rooms, as well as routine and periodic maintenance of machines covered by maintenance contracts. Additionally, the press carried out non-routine maintenance on several machines and renewed contracts for maintenance services that had expired. These efforts aim to improve the overall performance and productivity of the printing press.

In the field of printing, the press introduced new products to its production line during the first quarter, including various administrative, financial, and medical publications, forms, notebooks, files, and materials for government agencies, cultural publications, certificates, and educational materials. These publications cater to the needs of various sectors within the Ministry and affiliated agencies.

The press successfully executed 90% of printing orders received during the quarter, with the remaining orders being processed according to an operational plan. A total of 173,906 publications were produced, with a total cost of raw materials amounting to EGP 1,021,451. This output reflects the press's capacity to meet the printing needs of the Ministry and its affiliated entities.

On a separate note, the Ministry of Awqaf published the text of the Friday sermon dated October 2, 2026, and accompanying articles on its digital platform. The sermon, titled "And indeed, We have honored the children of Adam," aimed to raise awareness about the importance of preserving one's country and national security.

The Ministry emphasized the need to protect national assets and dismiss rumors, in line with the values of preserving the nation and its resources. The full text of the sermon and accompanying articles are available on the Ministry's website. This initiative demonstrates the Ministry's commitment to utilizing digital platforms for disseminating important messages and guidance to the public.

The achievements of the printing press and the dissemination of the Friday sermon reflect the Ministry of Awqaf's ongoing efforts to enhance its services and engage with the public through various channels. By leveraging technology and improving its operational efficiency, the Ministry aims to better serve the needs of its constituents and promote a culture of awareness and national pride.
