The Ismailia Governorate in Egypt has intensified its efforts to reclaim state and agricultural lands through the implementation of Wave 30, a nationwide campaign aimed at removing encroachments and violations. Under the supervision of Governor Nebil El-Sayed Hasab Allah, the governorate has successfully executed the removal of 26 cases of land encroachment and violations, covering diverse areas. This effort was carried out in collaboration with various stakeholders, including the Secretary-General of the Ismailia Governorate, heads of centers and cities, and representatives of relevant authorities and law enforcement agencies.
According to the daily report on the second phase of Wave 30, the removed encroachments included 13 cases of agricultural land violations, totaling 32 feddans, 8 qirat, and 14 shares. Specifically, 10 cases of encroachment outside the system were addressed, covering an area of 3 feddans, 15 qirat, and 18 shares. Additionally, two cases of encroachment within the system under Law 144 were resolved, spanning 16 feddans and 12 qirat. One case of encroachment under Law 168 was also addressed, covering 12 feddans, 4 qirat, and 20 shares.
In addition to agricultural land encroachments, the governorate also tackled spatial variations, removing four cases with a total area of 1340 square meters. This effort is part of the governorate's strategy to promptly address irregularities detected through the spatial variation system. Furthermore, nine cases of construction violations on private agricultural lands were prevented, covering an area of 6 qirat. This proactive approach aims to deter and prevent further construction violations.
Governor Nebil El-Sayed Hasab Allah has emphasized the importance of adhering to the scheduled timeline for removals, in collaboration with relevant authorities, and preventing re-encroachment on recovered lands. He stressed the need for close coordination among executive bodies, local units, and concerned authorities to monitor and implement removal decisions. The governor also underscored the importance of taking immediate action against new encroachment cases and applying legal measures against violators.
Wave 30 of the land reclamation campaign is being implemented in three phases. The first phase took place from August 29 to September 18, 2026, followed by the second phase from September 26 to October 16, 2026. The third and final phase is scheduled from October 24 to November 13, 2026. This campaign is being carried out under the supervision of the Higher Committee for State Land Recovery and in coordination with various ministries, including the Ministries of Local Development, Environment, Interior, Defense, Agriculture, and Irrigation.
