Youssef also mentioned the importance of the role of the General Information Authority in the awareness battle, by reaching citizens in various governorates and opening spaces for dialogue and awareness on national and strategic issues.
The General Information Authority has prepared a comprehensive program to celebrate the October War anniversary, which includes various events such as seminars, public meetings, and awareness-raising activities. The program also includes the production of knowledge and media, including a book titled "The 1973 October War in the Eyes of Foreign Writers", which provides a documented reading and analysis of the strategic, military, and political challenges faced by Egypt.
The authority's website has also made available a comprehensive file on the October anniversary in foreign languages, which includes materials, information, and data on the war and its heroes. This aims to provide a Egyptian perspective on this great event to the public opinion in various parts of the world. Ambassador Alaa Youssef also linked the October anniversary to the development efforts in Sinai, stressing that the liberation of the land was the beginning of another battle, which is the battle of construction and development.
