Egyptian Health Minister Khalid Abdel Gafar recently witnessed the signing of a cooperation protocol with the Homeland Protectors Party to organize comprehensive and free medical caravans across various governorates in Egypt. The protocol aims to provide necessary medical services, including check-ups, treatment, and lab tests, and refer cases requiring specialized care to Ministry-affiliated hospitals.

The protocol was signed by Dr. Peter Wajeh, Assistant Minister of Health for Therapeutic Affairs, and Samir El-Khouli, Secretary of the Health Committee in the House of Representatives, on behalf of the party. The signing ceremony was attended by Lieutenant General Ahmed El-Adawi, First Deputy Chairman of the Homeland Protectors Party and Senator, as well as several representatives and members of the party in the House of Representatives.

According to Dr. Hosam Abdel Gafar, Official Spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population, the protocol seeks to launch comprehensive free medical caravans targeting villages and remote areas in all governorates. These caravans will offer medical check-ups, provide medications, conduct necessary lab tests and x-rays, and refer cases requiring specialized care or surgical interventions to Ministry-affiliated hospitals.

Minister Abdel Gafar emphasized that integrating societal efforts with state endeavors optimizes the utilization of available resources, directing them towards serving the citizen. He highlighted that these medical caravans help reach citizens in various areas, providing necessary medical services that go beyond check-ups and treatment to follow-up with patients until full recovery.

The free medical caravans aim to bridge the healthcare gap in remote and underserved areas, ensuring that citizens receive quality medical care. By partnering with the Homeland Protectors Party, the Ministry of Health and Population seeks to leverage resources and expertise to maximize the impact of these caravans.

The cooperation protocol reflects the Egyptian government's commitment to enhancing healthcare services and improving the well-being of its citizens. By expanding access to medical care, the Ministry of Health and Population aims to promote a healthier and more productive society.
