Egypt has witnessed significant development projects in various sectors since 2014, according to Field Marshal Abdulaziz Sef el-Din, former commander of the Air Defense Forces. He noted that the scale of achievements in different sectors is beyond imagination. These projects have had a positive impact on the country's infrastructure, economy, and social services. Sef el-Din made these remarks during an interview on the Extra News channel.

The development projects have covered several areas, including ports, roads, bridges, railways, industry, agriculture, housing, social welfare, and healthcare. Sef el-Din emphasized the importance of evaluating the impact of these projects on the country's development trajectory. He cited the healthcare sector as an example, where the comprehensive health insurance system has been implemented in Port Said. This has significantly improved healthcare services for citizens.

Building a nation requires patience and perseverance, according to Sef el-Din. He noted that Egypt's resources are limited, and achieving development and attracting investments require developing infrastructure, preparing ports, building roads, and eliminating slums. Providing housing projects is also crucial. He reviewed various housing projects and new cities, such as the New Administrative Capital, New El Alamein, New Mansoura, New Aswan, and New Minya.

These new cities aim to accommodate the growing population, provide job opportunities, and employ the workforce. Sef el-Din also highlighted the development of the road network, comparing it to the traffic congestion that plagued the country before 2011. He stressed that infrastructure projects are essential for supporting the economy and achieving development. The government and citizens share the responsibility of building the nation.

President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi has previously emphasized that the current phase requires collective effort and patience to achieve development goals. Sef el-Din echoed this sentiment, noting that Egypt has faced numerous challenges throughout its history but remains a resilient nation capable of overcoming crises. He expressed confidence that Egypt will emerge stronger, saying that although the country may face difficulties, it will not succumb to them.

Egypt is currently in the process of building a new republic, according to Sef el-Din. He acknowledged that inflation and rising prices are global phenomena affecting many countries. To address current challenges, he called for increased work, national love, and awareness, as well as ignoring negative influences on the country. Sef el-Din urged citizens to be optimistic about the future.

In conclusion, Sef el-Din expressed his optimism about Egypt's future, saying it will be better, God willing. He encouraged Egyptians to work hard, love their country, and promote awareness. By doing so, the nation can overcome its challenges and continue to develop and grow. The former commander emphasized the importance of collective effort in achieving Egypt's development goals.
