The Egyptian electricity sector has initiated programs to develop the skills of its employees and qualify them for leadership roles. The programs are being implemented by the Leadership Development Center in the Electricity Sector, in collaboration with training sectors in several electricity distribution companies. The Leadership Development Center has recently launched a program to develop leadership skills, titled "Promoting to General Manager." The program was attended by senior officials, including Manal Al-Zanfali, head of the Leadership Development Center, and Engineer Mohamed Abdel Wahab, head of financial affairs, human resources, and training at North Delta Electricity Distribution Company.
In cooperation with the training sector at South Cairo Electricity Distribution Company, the Leadership Development Center has implemented a course to develop administrative and leadership skills in the field of "Promoting to Middle Management." The course was presented by Accountant Emad Hamdi, a manager at the Egyptian Electricity Holding Company. The course aimed to equip employees with the necessary skills to take on leadership roles.
Another course, titled "Spreading Principles of Integrity and Transparency," was also implemented by the Leadership Development Center in collaboration with the training sector at South Cairo Electricity Distribution Company. The course was presented by Accountant Hisham Al-Demiati, a manager at West Delta Electricity Distribution Company. The course focused on promoting integrity and transparency in the workplace.
The Leadership Development Center's programs are designed to support young cadres and encourage graduates of leadership development programs. Recently, Engineer Tarek Abdel Shafi, head of South Cairo Electricity Distribution Company, received graduates of the 42nd batch of the Leadership Development Program. The graduates, Engineer Tarek Al-Maliji and Engineer Sara Abdel Salam, presented a shield of thanks and appreciation to Engineer Abdel Shafi for his support.
The meeting was attended by several senior officials from South Cairo Electricity Distribution Company, including Engineer Hassan Abdel Hadi, head of control, prevention, and communications sectors, and Engineer Mostafa Al-Afandi, head of Cairo networks sector. The company aims to prepare and qualify a new generation of leaders capable of taking on responsibilities and contributing to the development of the work system.
These programs are part of the electricity sector's efforts to develop the administrative and leadership capabilities of employees, support promotion paths, and prepare cadres capable of taking on leadership responsibilities in various work sites.
