The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population's "100 Days of Health" campaign has provided 4,164,934 free medical services to citizens in Dakahlia governorate. The campaign, which ran for 56 days from August 1 to September 25, 2026, aimed to provide medical, therapeutic, preventive, and awareness services to citizens across various centers, cities, and villages in the governorate. The campaign was conducted under the directives of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Health and Population, and the guidance of Major General Tariq Margou, Governor of Dakahlia.

The services provided during the campaign included various areas of healthcare, therapeutic services in hospitals, primary care, integrated care for mothers and children, presidential initiatives, family development, vaccinations, health education, and preventive health services. A total of 1,555,652 services were provided in primary care and integrated care for mothers and children. These services included emergency and dental care, "Heart is a Trust" initiative, thyroid and phenylketonuria tests, and follow-up for children and pregnant women.

The campaign also provided services for those about to get married, with a total of 25,956 cases recorded. Additionally, 30,592 packs of subsidized milk were distributed to children in the first and second phases. In the field of preventive medicine and public health, a total of 123,408 vaccination doses were administered. The campaign also continued to monitor environmental health and preventive control, with a total of 816 establishments inspected.

Hospital services were also intensively provided, with a total of 1,580,228 services offered. These services included external clinics, medication dispensing from hospital pharmacies, emergency and internal departments, intensive care, nurseries, radiology, analysis, physical therapy, dentistry, interventional procedures, surgical operations, kidney dialysis, and blood bags and derivatives dispensing.

Presidential initiatives continued to provide services to citizens, with a total of 474,069 services provided. These services included maternal and fetal care, chronic diseases, cancer detection, women's health, elderly care, and hearing services. In the area of family development and counseling, a total of 157,523 women benefited from the services, and over 120,000 women received family planning methods.

The campaign also extended to health education and awareness, with a total of 27,902 awareness lectures and events implemented, benefiting 219,285 citizens. These events covered various topics in the areas of prevention, early detection, public health, nutrition, family development, and introduction to available health services and initiatives for citizens.

Dr. Hamouda Eid Al-Gazzar, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Dakahlia, emphasized that the continuation of providing this volume of services over 56 days reflects the effort made by all medical, administrative, and technical teams participating in the campaign. He pointed out that "100 Days of Health" represents an integrated system that aims to reach citizens in various parts of the governorate and provide them with free health services.
