The Egyptian Ministry of Labor has announced a new partnership with Eastern Spinners to provide 550 job opportunities in six provinces in Upper Egypt. The provinces include Fayoum, Beni Suef, Minya, Asyut, Sohag, and Qena. This initiative aims to convert cooperation with the private sector into real job opportunities for young people. The jobs will be in various fields, including production, operation, and engineering.
Minister of Labor, Hassan Raddad, met with a delegation from Eastern Spinners to discuss intensifying cooperation in training and employment. During the meeting, Raddad announced the start of the first phase of job opportunities in the six provinces. He emphasized that this step is part of the ministry's efforts to provide job opportunities for young people and support the needs of the industry.
Interviews and tests for the job opportunities will begin on October 11 and continue until October 15, depending on the province. The interviews will be held at various locations, including the Beni Suef Labor Directorate, Fayoum Labor Directorate, Minya Labor Directorate, Asyut Labor Directorate, Sohag Labor Directorate, and Qena Vocational Training Center.
Minister Raddad called on young people who have previously applied for the jobs to attend the interviews on the specified dates. He also invited those who have not applied to attend the interviews and tests, provided they meet the required conditions and specialties. The jobs include positions such as production technician, assistant weaver, and engineers in various specialties.
The job opportunities offered are characterized by providing employment within one of the largest industrial groups in Egypt, with competitive salaries and benefits. The jobs also offer opportunities for stability, career growth, and acquiring practical experience in a specialized industrial environment.
The Minister of Labor emphasized that the start of implementation in Upper Egypt provinces represents the first phase of this partnership. He added that the ministry will continue to coordinate with Eastern Spinners to complete the stages of providing job opportunities, opening up new prospects for young people.
The Ministry of Labor continues to implement its approach towards "training for employment," linking actual labor market needs to available job opportunities, and enhancing partnerships with the private sector. This initiative supports national industry, investment, and production, and provides decent job opportunities for young people.
