These vehicles are part of a larger trend in the global automotive industry, where manufacturers are shifting their focus towards electric and hybrid powertrains. The increasing competition in the electric vehicle segment has led to a wider range of options for consumers, with prices becoming more competitive.

One of the most affordable European electric vehicles in Egypt is the Smart 1, which is a result of a joint venture between Mercedes-Benz and Geely. The Smart 1 is available in four trim levels, with prices starting from 1.49 million EGP. The vehicle is equipped with a rear-mounted electric motor producing 272 horsepower and 343 Nm of torque, allowing it to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 6.7 seconds. The top-of-the-line Brabus trim features a dual-motor setup, producing 428 horsepower and 543 Nm of torque.

Another European electric vehicle available in Egypt is the Smart 3, which is a more aerodynamic version of the Smart 1. The Smart 3 is offered in three trim levels, with prices starting from 1.99 million EGP. The vehicle features a similar powertrain to the Smart 1, with a rear-mounted electric motor producing 272 horsepower. Volvo has also introduced its EX30 electric vehicle in the Egyptian market, with prices starting from 1.79 million EGP. The EX30 is available in three trim levels, with the top-of-the-line Twin Ultra Performance trim featuring a dual-motor setup producing 428 horsepower. The vehicle features a 69 kWh battery pack, providing a range of up to 476 km on a single charge.

The Smart 5 is another electric vehicle available in Egypt, with prices starting from 2.2 million EGP. The vehicle features a larger body than the Smart 1 and 3, with a more spacious interior. The Smart 5 is offered in three trim levels, with the top-of-the-line Brabus trim featuring a dual-motor setup producing 637 horsepower.

Mercedes-Benz has also introduced its EQA and CLA electric vehicles in the Egyptian market, with prices starting from 3.4 million EGP and 3.82 million EGP, respectively. The EQA features a 66.5 kWh battery pack, providing a range of up to 563 km on a single charge. The CLA features a more aerodynamic body, with a range of up to 792 km on a single charge.

BMW has also introduced its iX1 electric vehicle in the Egyptian market, with a price tag of 3.8 million EGP. The iX1 features a 66.5 kWh battery pack, providing a range of up to 474 km on a single charge. The vehicle is equipped with a range of safety features, including adaptive cruise control and lane departure warning.
