The National Center for Occupational Safety and Health Studies, affiliated with the Egyptian Ministry of Labor, in collaboration with the Faculty of Science at Cairo University, has announced the opening of applications for professional diploma and master's programs in occupational safety and health. This initiative aims to enhance the qualification of specialized cadres and leaders in occupational safety, health, and work environment management, in line with the requirements of the labor market and rapid developments in this field.
The programs, which will start on October 1, 2026, at the center's headquarters, are designed to provide a specialized academic and professional path that combines scientific qualification and practical application in occupational safety and health, work environment management, and dealing with occupational risks. The programs are open to holders of higher education degrees from various specializations, colleges, and institutes affiliated with the Supreme Council of Universities.
The study will be conducted over two academic semesters, using the credit hour system, and will benefit from the specialized scientific and practical experiences offered by a group of experts and specialists in occupational safety and health. The programs offer flexibility in the study method, allowing for in-person attendance or online participation, enabling students to balance their studies with their professional commitments.
The launch of these programs comes in response to the growing need for qualified cadres in occupational safety and health, risk assessment and management, work environment management, and emergency response. The programs will combine the institutional experience of the National Center for Occupational Safety and Health Studies and the academic experience of the Faculty of Science at Cairo University.
The center invites those interested in joining the programs to apply and complete the registration procedures starting October 1, 2026, at the center's headquarters located at 156 Hijaz Street, near Hijaz Square, Egypt, New Cairo, next to Saint Fatima School for Languages. The programs are part of the cooperation protocol between the Ministries of Labor and Higher Education and Scientific Research.
