The leaders signed four memoranda of understanding on cooperation in maritime affairs and fisheries, statistical cooperation, a strategic partnership plan, and visa exemptions for holders of diplomatic, official, and special passports. They also held a joint press conference, during which President el-Sisi emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between Egypt and Indonesia.

President el-Sisi highlighted the historical and cultural ties between Egypt and Indonesia, noting that Egypt was one of the first countries to recognize Indonesia's independence. He also praised Indonesia's role in promoting peace and stability in the region and expressed appreciation for Indonesia's support for Palestinian rights.

They agreed on the need for a comprehensive and just solution to the Palestinian issue, based on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as the capital.
