The 'Kotler Table' meeting, hosted by PEEK Consulting, brought together 14 economic sectors in Egypt to discuss brand management experiences. The meeting aimed to document Egyptian experiences in managing business-to-business (B2B) brands and include them in the Egyptian edition of Philip Kotler's book, 'B2B Brand Management'. The book is set to be launched in December with the participation of Professor Philip Kotler, a renowned marketing expert.
The meeting, which was closed to the public, included the participation of Dr. Waldemar Pförtsch and his global team in Egypt. Several executives presented case studies of Egyptian companies and institutions that have successfully built and managed brands. The meeting provided a platform for discussing the decisions made by companies in building their brands, the challenges they faced, and the results they achieved.
According to Assem Salem, Strategic Partner and Marketing Consultant for the Philip Kotler project in Egypt, the meeting represents a crucial step towards documenting Egyptian experiences in brand management. The project will enable Egyptian companies to document their brand-building experiences within a global reference, allowing them to be transformed into case studies that can be learned from and utilized regionally and internationally.
The meeting was attended by representatives from various sectors, including banks, healthcare, and fast-moving consumer goods. This reflects the diversity of B2B brand management applications in the Egyptian market. Salem added that the Egyptian edition of 'B2B Brand Management' is being co-authored by Philip Kotler, Dr. Waldemar Pförtsch, and himself.
The project is still open to Egyptian companies with documentable experiences to join the case studies included in the book. So far, the book includes three Egyptian case studies from companies such as Egyptian Medical Systems Group (EgiMed), Sand for Alternative Parenting, and MINT, a subsidiary of EGBANK. Some of these experiences were presented during the meeting.
A specialized summit on B2B brand management will precede the book's launch from November 11 to 13, 2026. The summit will serve as a primary platform for revealing project details and discussing the future of B2B brand management in the Egyptian market. The 'Kotler Table' meeting was supported by Global Marketing Nexus and sponsored by MINT by EGBANK, CAF, KOV Production, and Media Power.
PEEK Consulting aims to build a local base of Egyptian case studies in B2B brand management, with potential expansion to document Arab experiences and provide a unified model for regional markets. The project seeks to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical applications in brand management.
