This trip was organized in collaboration with Royal Manta Travel, the exclusive representative in Egypt for the GlobalStar international travel association.
Dr. Ahmed Youssef, CEO of the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion, stated that hosting this trip aligns with the ministry's strategy to diversify Egypt's tourism products and experiences, promoting them in international markets and highlighting new and promising tourist destinations. This aims to enhance Egypt's competitiveness, diversify tourism demand, and attract new segments of high-spending tourists.
The trip included visits to the Giza Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum, as well as several hotels in New Alamein City. The goal was to familiarize the Russian companies with Egypt's tourism offerings and services. A workshop was also organized by Royal Manta Travel to facilitate professional networking between Egyptian and Russian tourism sector representatives and explore cooperation opportunities.
The workshop featured presentations and discussions on trends in the Russian market and cooperation opportunities in luxury and MICE tourism. Egyptian hotel representatives showcased their facilities and services for hosting conferences and events, as well as the diverse tourism products available in Egypt. The workshop allowed for in-depth discussions on developing new tourism programs.
During the workshop, Mohamed Ali Abdel Latif presented an overview of promising destinations and tourism products in Egypt that could be promoted in the Russian market. He also discussed recent developments in Egypt's tourism sector and the government's efforts to improve infrastructure, increase hotel capacity, and enhance tourist experiences.
