Abdelatty also emphasized Egypt's readiness to continue cooperating with Equatorial Guinea in capacity building and experience transfer, including training for Equatorial Guinean security, police, and military personnel, as well as diplomatic training. He highlighted the importance of leveraging Egypt's accumulated expertise in these areas to support Equatorial Guinea's development efforts.
The two ministers exchanged views on several African issues of common interest, including ways to support peace, security, stability, and development in the continent. They agreed to continue coordinating and consulting on various regional and international issues to promote peace, security, and stability in Africa.
Following the meeting, several memoranda of understanding were signed in areas such as agriculture, culture, tourism, and aquaculture. A joint statement was also issued outlining the committee's conclusions and recommendations. These agreements aim to strengthen bilateral cooperation and promote mutual understanding between Egypt and Equatorial Guinea.
The meeting was attended by Egyptian officials and diplomats, including Nader Zaki, the official spokesperson for the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
