Ecobank Togo recently organized a ceremony to mark the 2026 Ecobank Day, celebrating the institution's 40th anniversary. As part of the event, 80 meritorious high school graduates from Grand Lomé and 20 students from Lycée d'Ablogamé received computers and internet kits. The initiative aims to promote education and digital skills among young Togolese. The ceremony, themed "Génération Ecobank 40," brought together the 100 laureates for a day of recognition, transmission, and access to digital tools.

The ceremony featured discussions on orientation, employability, digital technology, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, financial skills, leadership, and initiative-taking. These sessions were led by Ecobank's Director-General, Jeremy Awori, agents, and volunteers. The initiative aligns with the Togolese government's educational roadmap, which aims to modernize the country's education system.
Patibouyou Kirong, Director of Cabinet at the Ministry of National Education, praised Ecobank's initiative, highlighting its contribution to the government's educational goals.
