They will also be responsible for monitoring trucks undergoing clearance and keeping the Border Documentation Clerk updated on progress.
The Border Clearance Clerks will need to escalate customs queries, documentation discrepancies, system issues, or other matters affecting clearance promptly. They will also be responsible for coordinating with the Border Clerk and drivers where additional information or documents are required, ensuring cleared trucks are released promptly, and maintaining accurate records of shipments processed and cleared through the assigned station.
