Dr. Rami Zahi, an expert in African affairs, highlighted the significance of the "El Alamein - Africa for Business" forum as a crucial platform for economic dialogue. The forum brings together political leaders, financial institutions, businessmen, and representatives from the public and private sectors to discuss investment opportunities and development in Africa. This initiative is a culmination of Egypt's efforts to enhance economic cooperation among African countries.

The forum, held every two years, aims to develop mechanisms for African economic cooperation. With over 20 African heads of state and around 1,500 influential figures in attendance, the event reflects the growing interest in the continent's economic issues. Dr. Zahi emphasized that Africa possesses vast natural resources and significant human and youth capabilities, but the challenge lies in effectively managing these resources.

Dr. Zahi stressed that the forum's success is not solely measured by the number of participants but by the seriousness of discussions and tangible outcomes. He expressed optimism that the forum will become a key platform for economic dialogue and development planning in Africa. The event provides an opportunity for Egypt to promote its economic and trade relations with African countries.

The expert emphasized that innovative financing is a crucial pathway to support development through partnerships based on mutual interests and equality. He also highlighted the need to empower the African private sector and provide necessary support and guarantees to encourage investment. Furthermore, Dr. Zahi stressed the importance of youth as a primary force in shaping the continent's future.

Dr. Zahi pointed out that Africa faces multiple challenges hindering trade, including economic disparities, ongoing conflicts, and instability in some regions. He emphasized that achieving development, trade, or economic cooperation without security, peace, and stability is not feasible. The forum provides a platform to address these challenges and explore solutions.

The "El Alamein - Africa for Business" forum is being held in the new city of El Alamein, which serves as a model for Egyptian reconstruction and development in areas affected by wars and mines. Dr. Zahi noted that Egypt can utilize this gathering to promote its developmental experiences and offer them as viable solutions within the continent.

Key sectors that can drive African economic integration include infrastructure, health, education, digitalization, and data protection. Dr. Zahi highlighted the importance of leveraging Egypt's experience in developmental initiatives, such as the "Hayat Karima" project, to provide a model that supports improving living standards for people across the continent.
