The Caisse Nationale de Sécurité Sociale des Agents Publics de l’État (CNSSAP) agency in the Democratic Republic of the Congo's Sankuru province has launched a motorized caravan in Lodja to sensitize public agents on the importance of affiliation. The caravan, which began at the Monument roundabout and ended at the Territory Administrator's Office, was led by CNSSAP/Sankuru agency head Youssef Mukenge Matandu. The initiative aims to educate public agents on the benefits of affiliation and improve their social situation.

According to Youssef Mukenge Matandu, the CNSSAP agency is committed to supporting public agents in the affiliation process. He emphasized that the state deducts 4% of their salary and deposits it into the CNSSAP, and that affiliation is necessary to access these benefits. Mukenge Matandu encouraged public agents to take the necessary steps to affiliate and assured them that the CNSSAP is available to provide guidance and support.

The motorized caravan is part of the CNSSAP's Client Week, which aims to bring the agency closer to its insured clients and strengthen awareness of social security rights and benefits for public agents. The initiative also seeks to promote a better understanding of the CNSSAP's services and encourage public agents to take an active role in their social security.

During the event, Mukenge Matandu reiterated the importance of affiliation and encouraged public agents to seek more information on the benefits offered by the CNSSAP. He also invited them to complete the necessary steps to affiliate and access the benefits they are entitled to. The CNSSAP agency is committed to providing support and guidance throughout the affiliation process.

The Client Week will continue with a new activity, "Brigade Mobile," where five retirees will be visited. This initiative will enable CNSSAP teams to engage directly with beneficiaries, assess their situation, and strengthen contact with retirees. The visit aims to provide personalized support and address any concerns or questions retirees may have.

The CNSSAP agency's efforts to sensitize public agents on affiliation are part of a broader initiative to improve the social situation of public agents in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The agency is working to promote a culture of social security and encourage public agents to take an active role in their social protection.

The event was reported by Jean-Claude Kopami Shongo, who noted that the CNSSAP agency's initiative is a positive step towards improving the social welfare of public agents in Sankuru province. The agency's efforts are expected to have a positive impact on the lives of public agents and their families.
