The Deji Adeyanju Foundation, established by Abuja-based lawyer and civil rights advocate Charles Deji Adeyanju, has launched an empowerment initiative aimed at equipping young Nigerians with the skills and resources needed to build viable businesses. The programme, themed “Empowering the Next Generation of Nigerian Entrepreneurs,” will select 50 beneficiaries from tertiary institutions across Nigeria for its inaugural cohort. The initiative seeks to prepare young Nigerians to develop their entrepreneurial abilities and contribute to the country’s economic growth.
The programme is scheduled to hold on Sunday, November 1, 2026, at 3 p.m., and the venue will be communicated directly to successful applicants. To be eligible, applicants must be Nigerian students currently enrolled in tertiary institutions with an interest in entrepreneurship. Students studying law and those in other academic disciplines are eligible to apply. Applicants are expected to provide their full names, institutions, dates of birth, and current cumulative grade point averages (CGPAs).
Interested candidates are required to complete their applications through the foundation’s official website, https://DejiAdeyanjuFoundation.org. Applicants must upload the required documents in PDF, JPG, PNG, or WEBP format, with each file not exceeding 5MB. After completing and submitting the online form, applicants will receive an application reference number. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted by phone or email.
The application deadline is Saturday, October 31, 2026, at 9 a.m. West Africa Time (WAT). The foundation stressed that participation in the programme is entirely free, warning applicants against paying individuals or groups claiming to represent the foundation. Successful candidates will benefit from targeted mentorship, capacity-building sessions, practical business support, and access to tools and guidance to help them establish, expand, and sustain their businesses.
